How do I book an appointment?
If you would like to book a tattoo appointment at our studio, please go to the *Booking page* on the site and fill out the submission form. This will include your contact information, the artist you would like to do the tattoo, and a brief but specific description of your tattoo idea. Due to the high volume of submissions, please allow up to 2-3 weeks for a reply.
How old do I need to be to get a tattoo?
You must be at least 18 years of age. It is against New York State law (Section 260.21) to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. In accordance with this law, we have a strict No Minors policy. Not only must you be 18, you have to prove it with a valid State or Federal Photo ID. No exceptions.
How much do you charge?
Is a deposit required for booking an appointment?
Once you and the artist have settled all the details regarding scheduling your appointment and your tattoo idea, you will be required to submit a deposit equal to one hour of tattooing. The deposit will be applied to the final total for the appointment. For further information on deposits, see our terms and conditions.
I submitted an appointment request and have not gotten a response.
Where are you located?
Our studio is located in Midtown Manhattan, near Grand Central Station. Once you have booked an appointment, we will send you the address along with preparation info for your appointment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept both credit cards and cash. If necessary, PayPal will be accepted with an additional fee attached.
What do I need to mention when describing my tattoo design?
When explaining your tattoo design, please be as detailed as possible. For example, if you want a tattoo of a flower, tell us what kind of flower it is. Be explicit in your description, but try to keep it brief. Send us any reference photos you have for the tattoo. Also specify if you want your tattoo in color or black & white (not all artists do both). Tell us where you intend to get the tattoo, as well as the approximate size.
What kind of styles do you do?
Each of our artists specializes in different styles. For examples of their work, check out the *Artists* page to view their individual galleries.
I found a design on the internet and want it as a tattoo. Will do you do that?
Our artists only work with original designs - however, they can certainly use the design you found as a reference for creating a custom design.
Do you charge a fee for drawing my tattoo?

Can a bring a friend?
While your friend (or family member) is welcome accompany you to the appointment and return to pick you up, we cannot accommodate for more people in the studio during the tattooing process.
Can I commission a design if I live far away?
We want to give you the best tattoo possible, and we cannot control what other tattoo artists outside of our studio will do with our designs. Because of this, we only create designs for use by our own artists.
What if I need a touch-up?

We do have vegan available upon request.
What do I need to do after my tattoo is finished?

How long will my tattoo take to heal?
Your tattoo will be mostly healed in 2 weeks, fully healed in approximately 1 month. When scheduling your appointment, please make sure to avoid plans that involve a lot of sun/water and exposure during the healing period.
Where will my tattoo hurt less?
Will my tattoo fade/change much?
While this varies somewhat based on different skin types, the best solution to avoid fading and changing is to follow all the after care instructions and keep your tattoo healthy and clean.
How does skin tone affect the coloring of the tattoo?
After healing, certain colors may appear differently than expected with darker skin tones. Please consult with your tattoo artist about specific color choices you may have for your tattoo.
Are you hiring? Do you take guest artists?

Are there breaks during the appointment?
The artist will generally take a break every 3-4 hours.
I want to get a tattoo. Should I submit a booking request or email directly?
Please submit a booking request first through our website. Any further communication will take place over email.
What is your policy on emergency circumstances/last minute cancellations?
